Abstrak

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) terhadap hasil belajar Informatika di SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi, sebuah sekolah kejuruan yang diakui sebagai Pusat Keunggulan. Dengan menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimental pretest-posttest kelompok kontrol, penelitian ini melibatkan 70 siswa kelas X, yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (menerima media pembelajaran berbasis AR) dan kelompok kontrol (menerima metode tradisional). Media pembelajaran berbasis AR tersebut berfokus pada konsep-konsep Informatika yang abstrak, seperti algoritma dan perangkat keras komputer, melalui pengalaman interaktif dan imersif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen, dengan selisih skor rata-rata post-test sebesar 7,31 poin (p < 0,001). Uji statistik memastikan bahwa data memenuhi asumsi normalitas dan homogenitas. Berdasarkan teori kognitif pembelajaran multimedia, penelitian ini menyoroti potensi AR untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan, pemahaman, dan retensi pengetahuan dengan mengintegrasikan pengetahuan teoretis dan praktis. Terlepas dari keterbatasan, seperti fokus pada hasil kognitif dan ketergantungan pada infrastruktur teknologi, penelitian ini menyoroti peran transformatif AR dalam pendidikan kejuruan. Penelitian selanjutnya sebaiknya mengeksplorasi skalabilitas AR di lingkungan dengan sumber daya terbatas, efek jangka panjangnya, serta penerapannya di berbagai disiplin ilmu.
