Revenue Sources & Business Model
The Journal of Hypermedia & Technology-Enhanced Learning publicly discloses its current sources of financial and organisational support and maintains a strict separation between financial administration and editorial decision-making.
Clear Funding, Independent Decisions
Business models and revenue sources are disclosed so that authors, reviewers, readers, indexers, and other stakeholders can understand how the journal sustains publication. Ability to pay, waiver status, institutional affiliation, sponsorship, or organisational support does not influence editorial screening, peer review, acceptance, rejection, or publication priority.
How J-HyTEL Supports Publication
The journal's presently disclosed financial model has two principal components.
Article Processing Charge
An APC of IDR 200,000 per accepted article is payable only after a manuscript has completed peer review and received formal acceptance. There is no submission fee and no peer-review fee.
View APC & Waiver Policy ↗Organisational and Operational Support
Sagamedia Teknologi Nusantara, as the journal's publishing legal entity, supports journal operations and infrastructure, including platform administration, hosting, DOI registration, production, metadata management, preservation, and continuity.
View Publisher Information ↗Revenue Sources Not Used
J-HyTEL does not currently rely on the following sources.
The journal does not charge readers or libraries for access to published articles.
The journal does not accept or display external commercial advertising or sponsored product promotion.
No payment is required to submit a manuscript or to participate in the peer-review process.
The journal does not operate a paid reprint programme as part of its current business model. Published articles remain available under the licence stated on each article.
Financial Relationships Do Not Determine Outcomes
Editorial decisions are made by authorised editors on the basis of scope, scholarly contribution, methodological rigour, ethical compliance, presentation, and independent peer-review evidence. The publisher and financial administrators must not buy, sell, guarantee, accelerate, suppress, or otherwise direct a scientific decision.
APC Waivers and Discounts
Authors unable to pay may request a waiver or discount under the published APC procedure.
Waiver requests are handled confidentially and independently from scientific assessment. Editors and reviewers should not use fee or waiver information as a criterion for screening, review, acceptance, rejection, or publication priority.

The journal will update this page before or promptly after any material change in fees, subscriptions, advertising, reprints, grants, institutional support, organisational support, sponsorship, commercial services, or other revenue sources. A new revenue source must be evaluated for conflicts of interest and must not weaken editorial independence.
