Ethical Policy on Generative AI
Dear Authors & Reviewers,
Starting from 2025, on Vol. 3 No. 1, the use or non-use of AI tools must be stated in the article.
The Journal of Hypermedia & Technology-Enhanced Learning (J-HyTEL) is dedicated to upholding transparency and maintaining the highest ethical standards in the publication process. In line with this commitment, we have introduced a policy regarding the use of Generative AI (GenAI) and AI-assisted technologies in scientific writing.
This policy ensures that all manuscripts submitted to J-HyTEL meet rigorous academic integrity standards while also acknowledging the potential of AI tools to enhance research and writing. We strongly encourage authors to review and familiarize themselves with this policy, which can be found in the Publication Ethics section.
For reviewers are not permitted to use generative AI or AI-assisted technologies to evaluate manuscripts or draft reviews. All assessments and feedback must reflect the reviewer’s own expertise and judgment, ensuring the integrity and originality of the peer review process.
