Licensing Policy Update

We are excited to announce an important update regarding the licensing policy of articles published in the Journal of Hypermedia & Technology-Enhanced Learning.

Announcement: Change in License Policy: Transition to CC BY 4.0

The author retains the copyright of the submitted manuscript and grants the Journal of Hypermedia & Technology-Enhanced Learning the exclusive right to first publication. All articles published in the Journal of Hypermedia & Technology-Enhanced Learning are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this license, readers are free to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

These freedoms cannot be revoked as long as the license terms are followed.

Key Attribution Requirements

When using or distributing the work, it is required to:

  • Attribute the original author(s) and the Journal of Hypermedia & Technology-Enhanced Learning, including providing a link to the license and indicating any changes made.
  • This attribution may be done in any reasonable manner but must not imply that the licensor endorses your use or misrepresents the author(s) as the original creators.

Non-Exclusive Distribution Rights

Authors are free to enter into separate, additional non-exclusive agreements for the distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., posting it to institutional repositories or publishing it in a book), provided that proper acknowledgement is given to Sagamedia Teknologi Nusantara as the publisher of the Journal of Hypermedia & Technology-Enhanced Learning.

Freedom to Use for Commercial Purposes

Under the CC BY license, derivative works can be made and used commercially, provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors and the Journal of Hypermedia & Technology-Enhanced Learning. No further restrictions are imposed on the use of the material.

For Non-Academic Citations
