Resumen

El Internet de las cosas (IoT) ha transformado la seguridad doméstica al permitir sistemas automatizados de supervisión y control a distancia. Este estudio presenta un prototipo de valla inteligente basada en el IoT que utiliza el microcontrolador NodeMCU ESP32 y la aplicación Blynk para proporcionar un funcionamiento seguro y eficiente de las puertas a distancia. El sistema permite a los usuarios abrir, cerrar y bloquear puertas de forma remota a través de dispositivos móviles, superando así las limitaciones de los métodos manuales tradicionales. Entre los componentes principales se incluyen sensores ultrasónicos para la detección de obstáculos en tiempo real, relés y motores, todos ellos integrados en un robusto marco de hardware y software. Las pruebas revelaron respuestas consistentes del sistema en menos de dos segundos en condiciones de red estables, con una detección precisa de obstáculos que garantiza el mantenimiento de la zona de seguridad. A pesar de los retos que plantea la estabilidad de la red, el sistema resulta práctico, fácil de usar y escalable para aplicaciones de seguridad residencial. Las mejoras futuras podrían incorporar opciones de conectividad dual para aumentar la resiliencia de la red y una calibración avanzada de los sensores para mejorar la fiabilidad en diversos entornos. Este prototipo, de buena relación calidad-precio, demuestra un potencial significativo para las modernas aplicaciones de seguridad en el hogar inteligente y para futuros avances.
