초록
교육 분야에서의 인공지능(AI) 연구는 전례 없는 속도로 확대되었으나, 그 발전 양상은 여전히 파편화되어 있으며 과대광고에 치우쳐 있고, 학문 분야와 지역별로 고르지 않게 분포되어 있다. 본 논문은 현재까지 가장 포괄적인 매핑 중 하나를 제시하며, Web of Science를 통해 식별된 16,564편의 논문(1990–2025)을 분석하고, 계산적 주제 모델링, AI 지원 필터링 및 인간 검증 과정을 결합한 하이브리드 방법을 사용하여 4,626편의 핵심 연구 성과로 선별하였다. 이러한 거시적 수준의 매핑을 보완하기 위해, 각 주요 연구 주제에서 가장 많이 인용된 논문들에 대한 질적 개요를 수행함으로써, 영향력 있는 연구들이 도입, 참여, 개인화, 챗봇, 평가, 위험, 모니터링, 리뷰, 그리고 AI 교육에 대한 논의를 어떻게 형성해 왔는지에 대한 심층적인 해석을 제시한다. 연구 결과에 따르면 2020년 이후 기하급수적인 성장이 나타났으며, 특히 코로나19 팬데믹 기간과 ChatGPT 출시 이후 큰 폭의 증가세를 보였으나, 동시에 지속적인 분절화 현상, 평가 연구의 감소, 태도 조사 분야의 포화 현상도 확인되었다. 개인화, AI 교육, 참여도와 같은 유망한 분야는 장기적인 중요성에도 불구하고 주목도가 떨어졌으며, 반면 위험 및 윤리적 문제는 여전히 충분히 탐구되지 않았고 기술 연구와의 연계도 미흡한 상태입니다. 인용 패턴을 살펴보면 체계적인 불균형이 드러나는데, 교육 관련 논문은 불균형적으로 많이 인용되는 반면 공학 분야의 연구 성과는 제대로 인정받지 못하고 있습니다. 우리는 보다 축적적이고 통합적이며 비판적인 학문 분야를 육성하기 위해, 학제 간 협력을 강화하고 소홀히 여겨졌던 분야를 다루며, 역사적 관점을 포함시키고, 체계적인 과제를 해결할 것을 권고하며 본 논문을 마무리한다.
