초록
본 연구는 수마트라바랏 제1국립직업고등학교(SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat)의 기초 직업 과목에서 문제 기반 학습(PBL) 모델과 포커스 그룹 토론(FGD) 방법을 결합한 방식이 학생들의 학습 성과에 미치는 영향을 평가하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 준실험적 연구 방법을 채택하여, FGD 방법을 결합한 PBL 모델을 적용한 실험군(X E2반)과 직접 지도를 받은 대조군(X E1반)이라는 두 표본 집단을 활용하였다. 사전 및 사후 평가를 통해 학습 성과 데이터를 수집하고, t-검정을 사용하여 두 집단 간의 평균 차이를 분석했다. 연구 결과, 실험군의 사후 평가 평균 점수는 87.48점으로, 78.48점을 기록한 대조군에 비해 학생들의 학습 성과가 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 가설 검정 결과, 계산된 t-값(4.086)이 유의 수준 t-값(1.66)을 초과하여 두 집단 간에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 FGD 기법을 결합한 PBL 모델의 도입이 학생들의 학습 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 시사한다. 이러한 연구 결과는 학생들의 학습 성과를 향상시키는 효과적인 교수 전략으로서 PBL 모델의 잠재력을 강조하며, 교육 분야의 향후 발전을 위한 토대를 마련해 준다.
