초록

공학 전공 학생들은 기술 영어 어휘가 문맥에 따라 달라지고 전문적인 성격을 띠기 때문에 이를 숙달하는 데 종종 어려움을 겪습니다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 연구에서는 게임화 활동을 통해 분야별 어휘의 자율 학습을 돕는 모바일 애플리케이션을 개발했습니다. 이 애플리케이션은 Flutter 프레임워크를 사용하여 설계되었으며, 실시간 데이터 관리 및 사용자 추적을 위해 Firebase와 연동되었다. 이 애플리케이션에는 두 가지 상호작용형 게임이 포함되어 있는데—단어 추측 그리고 단어 일치—뿐만 아니라 텍스트 음성 변환 기능, 제한적인 힌트 시스템, 숙달 횟수 및 진행률 표시줄을 통한 시각적 진행 상황 추적 기능도 포함됩니다. 어휘 항목은 ‘일반 용어’, ‘도구’, ‘지침’이라는 세 가지 주제 범주로 분류되며, 각 범주는 확장성과 유지 관리 용이성을 위해 JSON 기반 데이터 관리 체계를 통해 구조화되어 있습니다. 전문가 검토를 포함한 실증적 평가 결과 높은 타당도 점수(M = 4.6/5)가 도출되어, 이 애플리케이션의 교육적 타당성과 기술적 안정성이 입증되었습니다. 게임화 요소와 진행 상황 시각화를 통합함으로써 학습자의 동기 부여, 자율성, 참여도가 크게 향상되었습니다. 본 연구는 Flutter–Firebase 개발과 교육 설계 원칙을 결합하여 공학 교육 분야에서 기술 기반 언어 학습을 발전시킬 수 있는 재현 가능한 모델을 제시합니다.
